Our Mission
The mission of my company (Death to Diabetes, LLC) is simple -- it's to educate people about Type 2 diabetes and to encourage people with diabetes that they can live healthier lives without being dependent on a lot of drugs. 
Our mission is based on my experience as an engineer as well as my experience as a diabetic who almost died from a coma with a blood sugar over 1300. Needless to say, I was fortunate to have survived the coma and my other health issues.
Our mission is also based on my experience after my recovery when I worked for the American Diabetes Association (ADA) as a community volunteer and support group leader. During that time I met hundreds of diabetics who were suffering with this disease like I was. But, as time went by and they noticed that my health continued to get better, this led to more questions, and, eventually, public talks and presentations.
Because people had so many questions, I developed a 1-page pamphlet to answer their questions and try to deter more questions. But, instead it led to more questions and a larger pamphlet that grew to over 50 pages!
As more diabetics began to improve their health using my pamphlet, more people began attending the support group meetings and public talks. By this time, my daughter, mother, some co-workers and people at the various churches felt that I should write a book.
At the time I didn't really want to invest the time and effort to write a book. It was difficult saying "no" to my mother especially since she had already made her mind made up. I tried to explain to her why I couldn't write the book, but, all she said was: "Son, by the time you explain all the reasons why you can't write the book, you could have written it by now?" So, you see -- I had no choice -- I had to write the book! :-)
Our Commitment
We achieve our mission through our passion, drive and commitment to perform medical research, share that research, and educate people about diabetes, nutrition, blood glucose testing, record-keeping, exercise, drugs, detox, supplementation, emotional and spiritual support, doctor visits, etc. We take great pride in our commitment and our passion to help you on your journey from illness to wellness.
And, our products and services are designed to help you on that journey. In addition, our DTD website and this online store are designed to provide you with a safe and secure environment to answer your questions and address any concerns that you may have.

Key Point: Next to eating the right foods and exercising, your emotional health is the most important part of managing your diabetes on a day-to-day basis. In addition to explaining how to improve your emotional health in my book, we provide hands-on emotional support. This is accomplished by providing a free health coaching and training session and participation in our diabetic support group. There is no other diabetes company that we are aware of that provides these free support services when you order their diabetes book.
